Flex Wear Contact Lens

I'm wearing Flex Wear Illusions in Slate Gray

My 5th pair of contact lens! :) I bought it at Executive Optical for only php1100.00 and it is good for 1 year use already. Got lots of compliments for this one. I find it pretty and I think the color suits me and I love that it is 3tone, which makes it more natural looking. If you wanna try wearing colored contact lenses, I suggest you buy the brown or gray ones since it looks more natural. I've tried wearing the blue and green ones. And they said it looked OA.!lol. That's why I decided to switch to gray and brown contact lenses. I bought my pair at EO because you can try/fit their lenses to know what color suits you. I think the only brand that they are selling is the flex wear. Flex wear is comfortable to wear as long as you clean it regularly but if you're a first time user, you'll feel a little discomfort but you'll eventually get used to it after few days of using it. You can use LensFlo contact lens solution available at EO for cleaning your lenses. It is very affordable for the price of php68.00 if I'm not mistaken. I am currently using this one and a bottle of it can last up to a month or two depending on how often you clean your lenses. I am planning to try other brands after this one expires. I wanna give other brands a try. Maybe Freshlook or Geo. What's the best brand of CL for you?

Eyebrow threading

Photo from Google.

Just got home. I Went to Bench Fix Salon to have my eyebrow threaded. I was suppose to go to Lay Bare for the threading since it has cheaper price (php100.00 only vs. php150.00 sa bench) but the waxing salon was too crowded so I decided to go to Fix. The service was ok. The procedure was done for about 15 minutes. T'was my first time to experience eyebrow threading because I usually just pluck my own eyebrow and just thought of trying eyebrow threading. I thought it's painful but I was wrong. It was kinda tickling for me!. I also want to sport a new look. I mean, I want to change the style of my hair and make it a tad shorter\ and have blunt bangs. But I dunno if it'll work for me. I'm afraid that it will just emphasize the roundness of my face. What do you think? Any suggestion as to what cut flatters round faces?

Date sa Malabon Zoo?

Haha. Em and I went to Malabon Zoo last Saturday, June 12. Malabon Zoo is not as good as it was before. Plus, ang mahal na ng entrance fee! Tumatagingting na php120.00 per person na! Parang dati bente lang isa ah?! buy one take one pa hahaha!!! Sayang ang zoo. It was kinda neglected sa totoo lang... (monkey or gorilla? Wala lang natuwa kami kasi naka brief haha tapos with ponytail pa at slippers! At all blue siya ha?!! Funny kasi kasama siya sa tour. Hmmmm... In my own opinion, the zoo is not worth visiting anymore.in my own opinion lang ha lalo na kung ang entrance fee ganun kamahal and what you will see is like that. madumi. They should take care of the animals well. Although pinakita naman na they're taking good care of the animals' health. They are giving them vitamins but yung sanitation, poor. Dapat linisin mabuti lalo na yung aquariums. Pati yng cr parang not usable sa sobrang dumi. I mean, few animal species are left. Well, we should visit other zoos the next time around. I want to visit also Manila Ocean Park. I heard maganda don. Has anyone of you visited it? ok ba? :D

Ellana Minerals

I've been wanting to try MMUs ever since I read good reviews about it. I especially wanted to try Ellana Minerals which is available locally. Ellana minerals offers a wide range of MMU shades and that made me  so confused as to what shade would look better on me. Thank god Ellana is generous enough to give free samples to those who want to try their products. To get free samples from them, I filled up their information sheet and received an email telling me to pay php50.00 for the shipping fee. I also wanted to try their silk glow hiliting powder, so I asked them to include a sampler size (1 gram) of it which costs php100.00 and a non-latex sponge which costs php30.00 per pair. I received the package yesterday and immediately tried it. The samples include 2 perfect blend foundation in cafe breve (which I find too light for me) and french vanilla latte, 1 powder blush in happiness, 1 finishing powder in espresso con panna, and 1 mineral concealer in awake. I was so impressed when I put it on my face. The foundation made my skin flawless and the blush gave my skin a healthy glow . Their concealer is also good and it really hid my dark circles and lightened my eye contour. However, my skin became oily just after an hour (that really is my problem!sigh) Maybe I should try using their oil absorbing finishing powder.and make up primer as advised by Ms. Coney. Ellana Minerals is such a great MMU to try. I just dont like that it comes in powder form  just like any other MMUs. I'm having a hard time applying it, it is kinda messy... but 'll definitely purchase again. Really worth the price!
To Ellana, thank you so much for giving me free samples :)

Thats it for today

Clap clap for SM!

I went to Caloocan City Hall yesterday to get a postal ID. Since it is still early, I decided to go to SM Fairview to uhmm, well, window shop (awwe, did i just said window shop? XD). I was wandering around the department store when I noticed that it changed a bit. I was surprised to see new stalls of various make up products. (They only offer few make up brands before;the usuals: Loreal, Maybelline,In2it, Nichido, EB, F21). SM Fairview Department Store now offers more make up brands like ELF Cosmetics, Revlon, Etude House, James Cooper, VMV Hypoallergenics and more! Among all of these brands, one brand caught my attention. That is, a make up brand named Shawill. It offers a wide range of prods. From Lipsticks to lip glosses, lipbalms, blushers, foundations, concealers, eyeshadows, and BB creams. The brand also sells make up tools all in affordable prices. But I'm not sure about the quality of the brand because it is made in China. The SA said the ingredients mainly came from uhmm, Germany? But...I dont know! Hmmm. But I still want to give this brand a try. There blushers are just so lovely, I cant resist! haha
Okay, I  said I'll just window shop but hey! Im really bad at it.

Here's what I bought

Shawill BB Cream 02: php168.00
Shawill Eyelash Curler: php49.00
Shawill Blusher: php139.00
ELF Studio Tone Corrector: php249.00
Nichido Final Powder in creamy glow: php150.00
Ever Bilena Eyebrow pencil and concealer: php75.00

I'll post review and photos for each prods later.

Thats it for now. Bye folks!

Garnier Eye Roll On

I'm a student and I've been really suffering from stress and lack of sleep lately. It really shows in my face and i hate it! I've tried many concealers just to hide it but my dark circles still appear. So i finally decided to try Garnier eye roll on since the product claims to effectively remove bags and dark circles around the eyes plus the price went down from php299.00 to php199.00

photo from Google

JOIN the Official Earth Day 2010 Campaign with Service and Advocacy

Earth Day, event first observed internationally on April 22, 1970, to emphasize the necessity for the conservation of the world’s natural resources. Starting as a student-led campus movement, initially observed on March 21, Earth Day has become a major educational and media event. Environmentalists use it as an occasion to sum up current environmental problems of the planet: the pollution of air, water, and soils; the destruction of habitats; the decimation of hundreds of thousands of plant and animal species; and the depletion of non-renewable resources. The emphasis is on solutions that will slow and possibly reverse the negative effects of human activities. Such solutions include the recycling of manufactured materials, fuel and energy conservation, banning the use of harmful chemicals, halting the destruction of major habitats such as rainforests, and protecting endangered species.

Forty years after the first Earth Day, the world is in greater peril than ever. While climate change is the greatest challenge of our time, it also presents the greatest opportunity – an unprecedented opportunity to build a healthy, prosperous, clean energy economy now and for the future.

Earth Day 2010 can be a turning point to advance climate policy, energy efficiency, renewable energy and green jobs. Earth Day Network is galvanizing millions who make personal commitments to sustainability. Earth Day 2010 is a pivotal opportunity for individuals, corporations and governments to join together and create a global green economy. Join the more than one billion people in 190 countries that are taking action for Earth Day.
