Product Review: Beauty Cosmetics' 20 Pc. Concealer Palette

So I finally laid my hands on the concealer palette I bought from Beauty Cosmetics last week. I’ve been trying to control myself not to buy much (cosmetics) now since I already have too much. But then again, my patience for not buying stuffs finally gave up and last week, I ordered this 20 piece concealer palette together with a 78 piece palette and eyebrow stencils, online.  It arrived next to my door steps so fast. My package came like 24 hours after I paid the seller.

And when I opened the courier's pouch…tadaaaa!!!

I like how the seller secured the package very well. She wrapped the palettes using bubble wraps and sandwiched in between styrofoams. So the packaged came to me without any damage.

Swatches for the color correctors.

and Swatches for the concealers.

This product is priced at Php650.00. Cheaper compared to the ones being sold by other online sellers. This one contains 12 concealer and 8 skin corrector. It also came with two sponge tip applicator which obviously look useless.  What I noticed about this concealer palette is that it is more for the people with cooler undertones. I love that it has lots of shades but sadly, only few suits me. I also thought that this one has a creamy consistency but I was wrong. It's actually hard to apply compared to cream concealers since the consistency is very very dry. Though some shades worked in concealing my dark circles, I personally am disappointed with it. On the other hand, the color correctors included in this palette is love! The white and peach one is great for highlighting, the purple and lavender one evened out my skin tone and reduced too much yellow on my skin. I have yet to try the other colors.BTW, the darkest brown shade included in this palette is the one  I am using to contour my nose. It works very well too! So, this product isn't bad at all. I just wish that they included a mirror in it. I am giving this product 3 out of 5 stars!

Thanks for reading guys. Have a great day!♥

Product Review: Nanny Rose's Sticks and Pulls

I used to shave unwanted hairs especially on my underarms before but I found out that shaving may cause chicken skin. That's when I decided to go to a waxing salon to have my underarms waxed. I find it too costly that's why I tried this option of waxing my own underarms. I discovered Epilin Hair Remover last year which is really effective in removing unwanted hairs but then I find it difficult to use since it needs to be be heated first in order for the wax to adhere to the skin and because of that, I sometimes end up with a slightly burnt skin after using it :( Sometime this year, I saw boxes of Nanny Rose's Sticks and Pulls at Watsons. I read that it can be used as is so I bought it. It comes in three sizes. I think the largest costs around Php300.00 and the smallest, which I bought, costs Php99.00. A box contains a jar of wax, 3 washable fabric strips, and 2 wooden spatulas.

What it looks like. It is primarily made of honey! You can tell by just smelling it.

What I like about this wax is that it can be used hot or cold and is also made up of natural ingredients which is a plus for those who have sensitive skin.  I immediately tried it after buying. So how did I use it? I spread the wax on my underarm (without heating it), pressed the fabric strip and pulled it from the bottom upwards. I admit that it did not completely removed my underarm hair  and that I need to repeat the procedure once again. But overall, I like this product! It works for me, it's painless, and it's cheap! I use it 2-3 times a month for two months now and I still have 1/4 product left. By the way, I have to remind you to make sure that you close the jar very well after using it and that you clean it as well. Remember, this product contains honey! On my first use, I left mine with some wax residues in the container and upon seeing it the next day, I see some ants on it! So clean, clean, clean the jar very well!

That's it for today's review. Have a nice day! :)

Product Review: Purederm Nose Strips

One of my skin problems is having a lot of blackheads particularly on my nose area. My pores are big and open that's why dirt tend to sit deep in my skin. I often go to a skin care center once in a while to have my face cleansed and to remove stubborn blackheads, but now that I am working already, I don't have time anymore to get a facial often. When I read some good reviews on how effective nose strips are in eliminating blackheads and whiteheads, I thought of trying it out. I bought a Pack of Purederm Nose Pore Strips, available at Watsons, for Php79.00. A pack contains three pore strips.

How to Use:
1. Thoroughly wash your face, making sure that it is free of any creams or make up.
2. Open the pack with your dry hands.
3.  Thoroughly wet your nose with water. If your nose is not wet enough, the strip may not stick and may not be effective.
4. Apply the strip to moistened nose area with the shiny side facing your skin. Press down and smooth out air bubbles, ensuring good contact with the skin.
5. Let the strip dry for 10 to 15 minutes. The strip should feel stiff as it dries.
6. After the strip is dried, slowly and carefully peel off strip starting at edges, pulling toward center. If there are any residue, rinse off with water.

Wanna see how much dirt did it removed on my nose?

Here's the proof. Eeeew! right?! I know you shouldn't be seeing this but I just want to show you guys that this prod really works. I was amazed how this pore strips removed sebum and blackheads on my nose. Although it did not totally removed the visible blackheads,  I can still see the big difference before and after using the strips. It really lessened my blackheads. I also like that it did not hurt nor irritate my skin afterwards. I'm giving this product 4 out of 5 stars. I would probably buy again. :)

Product Review: IN2IT Waterproof Eyebrow Colour

Good morning everyone! This one will just be a quick post. I just want to share with you guys this product I am currently loving right now. The IN2IT Waterproof Eyebrow Colour I bought recently at Watsons. I am in search of a good brow powder and I heard this one is a very good find. It has three shades in one compact and the product contains vitamin E but I don't know if it makes sense having vitamin E on brow powders!? The price of this is Php299.00. A bit pricey for its 3.5g Wt. This product makes a very good natural-looking, more defined brows. I use an angled brush dipped in water in applying this.
